
Here's what his mom wrote me that evening "Big success...rhys loved it...once we cut the tail (boo hoo)...he hugged him and kissed him. We have pics!!!! Thanks a ton!"
I am excited to see their pictures. And here is a picture of the cake pre-fondant. The cake is Chocolate Sour Cream with Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream.

This is just adorable. The color red is so perfect!! Great idea and seems really easy to cover in fondant.

can you give me some tips on how you got the dinosaur shape? did you cut the middle then piece together the tail and head, etc?

@Faith Thanks! I made this cake so long ago. I don't really remember - but I'm sure I carved the body first and then added the tail, neck and head with the remainder of the pieces.
So so cute!! I don't think I can manage such a cake. Here are some dinosaur cupcakes I made for my dinosaur crazy boy =)
