30th Birthday: Toolbox Cake

Back in March, I made a pink baby shower cake tower for a client.  With a brand new 1 month old - she was able to pull off a surprise 30th birthday party for her husband.

Her husband is an electrician so she loved the idea of a red toolbox filled with lots of his tools including hammer, marrets (caps for the wires), wire cutter, screwdriver, outlet and multi-meter.
The cake was Chocolate Sour Cream cake with vanilla swiss merinuge buttercream.  All the items were edible and handmade out of sugarpaste.  It was so fun to see it all come together!

From the tiny caps for electrical wires to the tiny screws on the tool box latch you have created an amazing birthday tribute to a man and his profession. Lovely, amazing cake!
