Hero 6 Baymax Cake

It's that time of year again, when my nephew's birthday rolls around.  This year's theme was a toss up between the movie Hero 6, Lego and Minecraft. Well I'm glad it wasn't Minecraft... :-)

My nephew had 2 celebrations this year, so I made him a Baymax cake for our family celebration and a Lego cake for his school friend party. I will post that one next week.

2nd Birthday Cake: Hello Kitty Cake

I love when I have the freedom to design cakes.  I have many regular clients that I work with year after year and they will give me a theme and trust my design style.  A few years back, it started with this baby shower cake and then Lola's 1st birthday cake.

This year, the birthday girl turned 2 and wanted Hello Kitty!  I wanted to experiment with some edible ink painting and I loved it!

70th Birthday: Luggage Cake

Many years back, I made a fun Safari-themed retirement cake and this time around, the couple celebrated their 70th birthdays.  They have pretty much traveled everywhere,  so a luggage cake was definitely appropriate.
