A Big Blue Whale

It's a big blue whale! I made this cake for a software design and management company called the Jonah Group. They were celebrating their 7th birthday.

Originally, for this techie crowd, I was trying to make a spout at the top with ones and zeros coming out. But at the last minute, I couldn't make it work without using inedible items (which I didn't want to do.
The cake was alternating layers of chocolate and vanilla butter cake with swiss meringue buttercream covered in blue fondant. They sent me some pictures from their event - I like the picture of the whale cake being eaten, but he's still smiling! :-)
